Hello all. I'm sure you have read in the internet articles and other sources of news that Jennifer Hudson's mother and brother were both tragically killed in Chicago today.
A friend of mine called me up and asked me if I had heard the news about what happened. Quite naturally I hadn't heard a thing, because I was out and about today getting some air. But when I heard about it, I was in shock. My friend told me they read the article in The Chicago Tribune that they were found, but Chicago P.D. wouldn't confirm that it was them (at that present time). As I was logging on to my computer before writing this blog, I see the article on Yahoo! confirming the deaths of the two.
I would like to say that I do extend my condolences to Jennifer Hudson and her family at this time, because this is very tragic. Not only were her mother and brother killed, but it's quite possible her nephew was kidnapped as well. An amber alert has been put out in search of the child. I do hope and pray that his return is safe and sound. So for those of you out there who are fans of hers, do say a prayer for her and the family, and also one for the return of her nephew.

UPDATE AS OF 10-27-08: THE BODY OF 7-YEAR-OLD JULIAN KING (JENNIFER'S NEPHEW) WAS FOUND 13 MILES FROM THE MURDERS OF THE LATE DARNELL DONERSON AND JASON HUDSON. MY PRAYERS ARE CONTINUALLY WITH THE HUDSON FAMILY. Rest In Peace, Julian King
