Hey bloggers. I have asked myself this question for quite some time, and still haven't got a clue on the answer. Am I weird and strange, because I don't do girly stuff like other girls do?
I will give you the skinny about me:
-I rarely give other females compliments about something they are wearing, etc.
-I don't act frilly or prissy. Seems fake and well... "girly". LOL.
-I cringe (on the inside) when I'm in a room around a bunch of females (for the exception of family members)
-I don't mind wearing skirts or dresses, but don't do it often unless the ocassion calls for it
-I don't wear make-up on my face. I think it takes away from what I consider to be the real "me". Note: I just started trying out make-up for my face as early as a year or so ago. Still adjusting.
-I feel weird and strange when a person tells me I'm beautiful or pretty. Crazy, I know.
I honestly don't know if I have this tomboyish personality about me, but the things I listed above just seem a little too strange for my taste. I guess I've always had more of an appeal toward the opposite sex, because somehow or another, I get along better with boys and men. *Maybe that's why I ended up having male children*
Anyway, I just don't know how to approach this "problem" without feeling like I'm an alien from another world. Maybe it is because I'm a girl with tomboy mannerisms. Who knows?!.... I'm sure to figure it out one day.

I wouldn't call you strange. It's just that you don't do the things that other females do. It's make you an individual.

i put paint on my face...
i walk around in high heels that hurt my feet...
i wear a string that goes up my ass and at times isn't the most comfortalbe thing in the world...
i wake up 45 min early so that i can burn my hair to make it look cute...
i flirt with guys cause i don't feel like paying for drinks...
the list can go on and on...
just cause you don't do what expected of you doesn't make you weird... just be true to you... and everyone else can kick rocks!!!

nah don't think it's strange or weird. I just think everyone is different in certain respects. Those are the things that separate us from others.
