How far does Domestic Violence have to go...?!

Hello ladies and gents. I'm sure everybody and their daddy has heard about what went down between Rihanna and Chris Brown. I'm not about to reiterate the entire event, because there's no need to. I will say this: What Rihanna's publicist people almost did was pure and utter chickensh*t, period. If this young man really and absolutely did hit her, there was no reason for anybody in either camp of these celebrities to put up a front for what happened. That in and of itself shows me that stardom will condone domestic violence. As long as you can mass market yourself and keep the money flowing, you getting your ass kicked don't matter.

Second, Chris Brown should have known better! I don't care if you are 59, the fact is WRONG IS WRONG. Nobody (I don't care what the other person did that was foul and trifling) deserves to be a punching bag. I won't lie, I am guilty as charged when it came to something like that (whole other topic for a later time), but when I think about it, I am just as bad as he was when it came to hitting someone of the opposite sex. Point of the matter is that you don't put your hands on someone who ain't hitting you back (opposite or same sex). Now, if a situation called for self-defense, I would say beat 'em like they stole somethin! LOL.

But in all realness, too many women are abused and even left for dead at the hands of the abuser. Didn't anybody learn anything from Tina Turner? When I say she got that ass kicked......?! (Gives a stern face and side eye action) And we can't forget about all the cases between OJ and his wife Nicole Brown Simpson (whom is now dead. Whether if it was by OJ is another story itself). But it don't matter if you are homeless, a celebrity, or just an average joe, it's against the law to beat on someone. So if you are male or female, and beating on the opposite sex, the cops would send that ass to jail. End of story.

So to Chris Brown: You are at the tenderoni age of 19 years old. Something this crazy and stupid is at the brink of ending your career. What were you thinking about?! Now, beit if this madness is true, first and foremost SEEK COUNSELING. Second, you make and formal apology to Rihanna and to the rest of the world whom listens to your music. Third, apologize to the people whom are what's keeping your career afloat: WRIGLEY'S, every producer, songwriter, label exec, etc.

What you need to see here is that with negative actions come very swift consequences. And this consequence right here should be a lesson to you, young man. No doubt about the fact that you are a very talented young man and you have your life ahead of you. Don't let your foolishness and the lifestyle you live be your downfall. You must realize that this mess is entirely your fault, and is drawing all kinds of backlash upon your young little shoulders. Stay young while you have the chance to. Because there are men in prison right now whom have committed domestic violence and some are paying more for their unjust actions than others. Since I see that at some point in your young life this has been a curse within your family, it's time you put an end to it. If you want to see your career soar to greater heights, make sure you think before you act. You won't be so lucky the next time.... IF there is even a next time.

Until the next post,
Peace & Blessings

It's funny how we don't even know the whole story but already everyone is automatically condemning Chris Brown and no one knows the whole story. It hasn't even been proven that he put his hands on her, she could have caused the injuries to herself, or she could have bumped her head on the dashboard if Chris came to a sudden stop. The point is we all weren't there, we are all just making assumptions and already we have become this boys judge and jury. It's funny how you just wrote a post about judging a book before you read it and already you have condemned him in your mind and he is guilty...so...if it comes out that he didn't hit her that she attacked him or whatever the story maybe then what?

I guess you missed this part of what I had to say. I didn't rush to judgment. I already know there's two sides to every story, and I'm like the select few that are trying to figure out which story is the truth. Now if he didn't do it, there's nothing to worry about. The rest of the world is rushing to judgment, not me. I'm just stating that domestic violence period is dead wrong (no matter whom hit whom). Yes, I wrote the post about judging a book and what not, so if you took this post the wrong way, so sorry. Wasn't meant to put him down or criticize him. But at the same time, he must realize that this whole situation is on the brink of ruining his career, and it's just barely getting started.

My thing is this: We all don't know what happened. He could've been defending himself for all we know. He could've just popped off the handle. Until that true story comes out, we can only go by what the media says.

Another thing: Now I know domestic violence is a serious issue. But if this was an average joe or random female, this wouldn't have made the news or you would've came across it online. So much focus is on it now because of the star status that's involved. It could be a person getting beat right now, how about someone stick up for their rights?

And that's where domestic violence organizations come into play, to stand up for the rights of people whom are abused. The problem in a nutshell is that those whom are abused don't report it, and even when it's long past time to report it, it's too little too late, because they're dead or severely injured. And even if they weren't stars and I heard about it, I would still speak on it. And even if the whole thing with Chris Brown and Rihanna is true, it still doesn't excuse domestic violence celebrity or not. And if this isn't true, I just hope that both parties learn a very valuable lesson from this whole situation.
