Hey ladies and gents, it's ya girl Untouched Jewel...in....the...buildin!
So far 30 is having a few little bumps in the road here and there, but none the less this new decade I done stepped in has been on a good note. Side note: the title of my post does not...I repeat DOES NOT take away from the name of one of my reader's blog Thirtyhood.com
Now that I have gotten that out the way...let's proceed. Since turning 30, I have experienced some hormonal changes in a real way. I'm not talkin pre-menopausal or no foolishness like that. Hormonal meaning my sexual peak has elevated. Don't adjust your vision people, I said it! LOL. I've heard that a woman's sexual peak increases with age...but great googamooga...I'm not trying to get a mental picture of a woman my mother's, aunt's or grandmother's age gettin their freak on. *shutters*
At first it started trippin me out, but I got used to it. One thing is for sure, it's made me feel sexier about myself, but yet I'm still a shy person. Don't ask me why, I just am. I'm still kinda not sure as to whether this is a good or bad thing as to my sexual libido picking up some speed. Now don't get it twisted, I'm not trying to screw everything that is or isn't nailed down. I have standards and moral fiber about myself. But if temptation arises, I'm gonna try to fight tooth and nail to avoid it. But I gotta admit, the sensuality of sex is a turn-on. Sorry...I had to get this out. Maybe that's another thing about turning 30: having these moments of clarity and openness. Well, I got a whole 10 years of this happening, so...I might as well get used to it. But hey...30 ain't so bad. Just gotta make the best of this decade that it has to offer, and if it means I'm gettin some on a frequent basis (with the right person), then in the famous words of Tupac Shakur: "....And once again it's on!"
