Illegal immigrants....THE MODERN DAY SLAVE

Hello ladies and gents, it's ya girl Untouched Jewel in the buildin. It's late here in Cali...just after 12:30 in the morning to be exact.

I was watching Law & Order earlier this afternoon (one of my favorite crime shows), and there was an episode that was very profound to me, which is why I had to write a post about it...like to hear it?! Here it goes! Anywho, the episode was about this woman whom was an actress that was hung to death in her apartment (now mind you Law & Order is based in New York). Ok, so the lady is hung in her apartment. The police are trying to find out how this woman was killed. The medical examiner explains to the police that there was no struggle going on when she was killed, or any foul play that they could see with the human eye. The medical examiner did mention that she was killed from asphyxiation due to the strangling from when she was hung. However, just before her death, she suffered a subdural hematoma in the back of her head where she fell down, but it's not what killed her. So the police are searching and searching trying to find a suspect in the woman's death, and somehow they come up with two possible suspects: one being an illegal immigrant and a man whom worked as a CEO of a construction company, due to the fact that there was some construction work being done on her apartment building and she had complained about the noise.


Long story short, the police have both men, but nobody is willing to talk. The district attorney decides that since no one is gonna confess, they would contact INS to do a raid on the construction company and haul away any illegal immigrants working for the company. So when the district attorney met with the illegal immigrant and showed the INS deportation papers, that's when he got to talking. The immigrant stated that the victim had complained about the noise in the building, because she was trying to work on a script and she couldn't concentrate. The guy stated that she was very upset, and he was trying to stop her. He mentioned that she was very hasty and he pushed her down some stairs (where she suffered the subdural hematoma) and was knocked out unconscious from the blow to the head. The immigrant stated he told the boss what happened, and was told to go on about his business. Now what happened after that is the boss had put the victim in her apartment and had hung her from there.What's so messed up is how it took the illegal immigrant risking his livelihood and status in this country to snitch on the man that had his life sealed in the palm of his hand.

Now here's where I'm about to step on some toes and offend some people. Right now is not the time to get all politically correct and sensitive. Fuck sensitivity right now! But all I say is take the time to think about what I'm gonna say. Mexicans coming here to America illegally are full of shit! They think that they can come here and think they are running shit, but looking at the bigger picture, they really aren't. They get these side gigs finding work by construction companies, working as nannies, flippin burgers, etc., and have the balls to walk around with their noses in the air like they are something special, because no one else is fool enough to do the work they are doing. Now mind y'all, I don't knock their hustle by any means whatsoever. However, they are lacking some common ass sense in the grand scheme of things. How so? Here's how:

1. THEY ARE HERE ILLEGALLY! NUFF SAID ON THAT ONE. 
2. They are overworked and underpaid for whatever contribution(s) being put forth for a better life
3. If caught, their asses are deported with the quicks

And what illegal immigrants fail to see that when shit gets thick with the white man (i.e. they are running a company with undocumented workers or have hired nannies to care for their kids, and are reported), the illegal immigrant is the fall guy when it comes to the domino effect. See, Mexicans and anyone else can say what they wanna say about black people being lazy and what not when it comes to work, but I got news for all y'all...BLACK FOLKS WERE THE ORIGINAL SLAVES!! The thing is that black people already know what white folks have already done when it came to having the minority race do hard labor. In my honest and very outspoken opinion, illegal immigrants are nothing but modern day slaves for white people. The only difference between them and actual slaves from centuries past is the fact that white people are kissing their ass and giving them hush money. What illegal immigrants fail to see is that all the while they are working 70 hours per week and making "peanuts" and getting paid under-the-table, rich white men and women are getting richer, netting millions of dollars off the backs of their labor and sweat. No vacation time, no overtime, no sick time, no paid family leave...NOTHING! It's only a matter of time before they suck the life out of them after using them to no end and will deport that ass on the next bus, plane, train, automobile and boat to wherever the hell they came from. The only reason that didn't work with slaves is due to a constitutional right being written into law on their behalf.

I honestly do feel bad for them as far trying to better themselves and provide for family. What's even more sad is the fact that they are on the shit end of the stick and don't even know it. Take for example the controversy between Meg Whitman and her former nanny. The girl came from another country illegally to work and better herself. She starts becoming Meg's nanny for her children (cause those of us of color know white folk can't handle no responsibility when it comes to rearing children). This girl got away scott-free for years working for this woman, and it was made aware over time that she was illegally in the states, but it was swept under the rug...why? CAUSE MEG'S OLD HAG ASS WAS GREEDY! Pay cheap labor to a nanny that has no training in CPR, no child development experience or degree, just to save a damn dollar. SMH. The moment Meg Whitman runs for governor of California, that's when the shit hits the fan! All her business is put out in the world wide media, and costs her all them millions she thought she could throw out there to win her the highest seat in California state government. (epic fail on all levels)

Here's my conclusion in all of what I have said: if illegal immigrants wants all the rights and privileges a citizen gets, DO THAT SHIT RIGHT! Sure, with constitutional laws and all in effect it's gonna take that ass about 5 years to become a citizen (granted they give a fool the time of day to become one). It makes no sense to me as a citizen of this country of 30 years via the ancestral roots of my foremothers and fathers fought and died for, have to pay taxes, while they get a free ride. It makes no sense that I have to wait for the second coming at a county facility to receive public assistance while they walk out in 5 minutes with every food stamp book and check in their hand to feed them disease infested snot-nosed kids. It makes no sense to me that I gotta jump through hoops as a citizen to receive a grant for college while their natural-born child goes to college free! Tell me where's the sense in that? They come here duckin and dodgin the INS like LAPD, but I suffer when illegal women come in the country having babies like rabbits in public and private sector hospitals, while I'm footing the bill? Here's what I say to that: UNTIL YOU BECOME A CITIZEN, YOU DON'T MEAN SHIT! The white man may love y'all now, but it's only a matter of time they will treat you worse than shit underneath their shoes. All that Amnesty Day bullshit is just what it is...bullshit. All that marching and protesting gets you nowhere. You can call out one day to show that this country is finished without you. But just like the words to that Beyonce song: "don't you ever for a second get to thinking you're irreplaceable". Keep taking that day to protest if you want to, and the white man will show better than he can tell you what he really thinks of you. Think I'm lying? Google the Jim Crow Era and Civil Rights Movements. Look at the struggle blacks have had to face since 1529. It has yet to stop for us as a race to this day.  Don't get too high and mighty with yourselves, because you are just a MODERN...DAY...SLAVE.
