Yes, yes y'all the new year will be here in a lil over 24 hours, and I know many of you have put out a laundry list of resolutions, but by a show of hands, how many of y'all really stick to everything you're resolving?! *side eye*
Anywho, I personally don't make resolutions, because I just think there's more to a resolution than writing it down and making it look good on paper. Things in life require action, and just talking about what you're gonna do ain't cuttin it. I know I've procrastinated about a lot of shit in the past year, but now that I have some kind of free time, I can do my best to accomplish what I've long set out to do.
I think for this year I'm gonna take things in the relationship department a step further by seeing what's out there for me, or maybe taking a laid back approach to the whole relationship thing.
I've always been quite conservative about whom I date (contrary to popular opinion via family--you know who you are). Yes, I've had sexual encounters that have led me to having children, but that doesn't take away from the fact I still feel a certain way about how I conduct myself in a sexual nature with the opposite sex. But all in all, I believe I'm now ready to allow myself to open up to the right person (whomever that may be), and if it gets to the level of marriage, then so be it.
I also am working on other avenues of increasing my finances going into the new year working my way into garnering some success for the near future. I definitely pray that it can and will work in my favor, and never have to go back to mediocre or mundane ever again.
So ladies and gents, whatever dreams, ambitions, goals--short or long term, aspirations are, get the ball rolling. Nothing is worse than a wonderful opportunity passing you by.
