Black People Stand UP!

I was reading the blog of a blogger by the name of Mr. Swagger on The Urban Blogger, and it inspired me to write this post today. My fellow African American men and women, we are in a time where history is about to be made. It is a likely chance that Barack Hussein Obama is about to become the 44th president of the United States. And with his opponent John Mc Cain running against him for the Republican Party, him and his "Ventriloquist Dummy" Sarah Palin are inciting racial hatred at their campaign rallies.

If there was any time that Black people need to stick together, the time is RIGHT NOW! I'm not a racist, nor hate people of other races, but let's face the reality of the situation for a moment. This is a white man who is going around telling people of his own kind that Obama is a terrorist (largely due to the fact that Barack's middle is Hussein). Um, last time I checked, he wasn't related to Saddam. Barack Obama is half African and European. He was raised by his white grandparents most of his life. And if Obama is such a terrorist, why the hell would be serving as a U.S. Senator? See, this is why inbreeding needs to stop among southern white people. They come up with the most ass-backwards logic, and go among the masses with that dumb shit. PLEASE STOP! It's enough that you are stupid, but why be ignorant, too? Then you have your brother/cousin going around trying to get angry mobs started by this crap that Mc Cain spews out, because Barack Obama isn't "white" enough to be a leader of the so-called free country we live in.

BLACK PEOPLE STAND UP! STAND YOUR ASSES UP AND PROTECT EACH OTHER. We as Black people have so much history and rich heritage (even soiled through bouts of slavery and self hatred). We are the first people whom walked this beautifully planet we live in, we are the first innovators, originators, inventors, trend setters, smart and beautiful people that make life the way it is. Without us, where would other people be? How would other people make it in life without us? It's time we stop hating each other and ourselves, and demand the respect that has long been overdue. Men, BLACK MEN, start being fathers and husbands to Black women who deserve to be the wives and mothers God created us to be. We can't be that and more to our Black children. That's why they are screwed up and confused now. Black women, STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP letting Black men treat you like shit, and then go off and marry someone else of another race, and you got your face tied in knots when they do it. STOP! This madness has to end. Didn't anybody watch School Daze? Did that movie not only entertain, but teach you something? And if it hasn't, shame on you.

Rappers, entertainers, athletes: Stop the Madness! We know you are doing what you are getting paid to do. But outside of that, why you gotta go out in public and show your ass so white people can keep that same negative stereotype ingrained in their minds about you?

Black parents: BE BETTER EXAMPLES TO YOUR CHILDREN. DON'T LET BET, MTV, AND ANY OTHER MUSIC VIDEO NETWORK BE THE ROLE MODELS TO YOUR CHILDREN. CHILDREN EMULATE THE IMAGES THEY SEE ON TV, AND IF YOU DON'T TEACH THEM ANYTHING, THEY WILL LOOK AT YOU LIKE YOU'RE THE BUTT OF JOKES AND TRY THEIR DAMNEST TO BE JUST LIKE THE IMAGE THEY SEE ON TV.

BLACK PEOPLE WAKE THE HELL UP. We are our own worst enemy! And what's messed up: the rest of the world is too.

Thanks so much for your response. I do feel strongly about this issue, and feel that Black people need to wake up, otherwise we are doomed to let history repeat itself.
